We are looking for a Tax Agent to support our regional growth in Australia! 🚀🇦🇺

Do you already have a portfolio of clients? We're interested in discussing the possibility of acquiring it.

What you will be contributing to:

• Manage a growing portfolio of clients - small businesses, ensuring the smooth delivery of services with your team, as well as great overall satisfaction.
• Deliver the full spectrum of accounting and tax related deliverables for small businesses (BAS, Tax Returns...).
• Hire, train and nurture a team of accountants and tax accountants.
• Collaborate on the continuous improvements of our operations and software developments.
• Liaise with the ATO from time to time on behalf of your clients.
• BAS preparation and submission for your clients.
• Tax return preparation and submission in a timely manner.
• Advising and engaging with clients on various accounting & taxation matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, including relevant Australian tax units.
• TPB Tax agent registration as an individual with 2 years of experience - Mandatory.
• 4+ years experience as a practising accountant and tax practitioner for sole traders and private companies.

• 2+ years Xero Payroll experience, including setting up and assistance running Single Touch Payroll and superannuation.
• Effective client servicing & communication skills.
• High degree of professionalism, an excellent representative of our organisation.
• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Expert level on Xero apps.
