Sigma Defense is seeking a Subcontracts Manager to oversee, mentor, and manage a team of subcontracts and procurement professionals performing cradle-to-grave subcontract administration. The individual will be responsible for the oversight of day-to-day subcontract duties to include support of proposals, issuance of new subcontracts, modifications, evaluating performance issues and the maintenance of file documentation to ensure compliance with CPSR and SOX requirements.
The selected candidate shall have relevant experience in procurement and subcontract administration with contractors to the federal government, and an appreciation of the financial/analytical issues of profit and loss.
The ideal candidate shall have experience preparing an organization to pass a CPSR audit, to include ensuring company policies and procedures are adequate, and file documentation is in order. The ideal candidate will also have experience with JAMIS Prime ERP.

Requirements
- 6 - 10 years of relevant experience, preferably with experience using JAMIS Prime ERP and preparing an organization for a CPSR audit.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and other applicable FAR Supplements, as well as applicable procurement laws and regulations, and an ability to find solutions to business needs within those confines.
- Have a positive approach toward business management within flexibility and willingness to try new task/assignments.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration or related field of study.
Computer Programs/Software Experience:
- Microsoft Office Suite
Essential Job Responsibilities (not all-inclusive)
- Lead and manage a team of subcontract administrators and provide mentoring and training to the assigned staff in cradle-to-grave subcontract management.
- Supervise, develop, and manage staff to include setting goals and objectives, and assist staff in meeting those goals and objectives.
- Build strong relationships with internal business owners to understand business objectives and requirements to support proposals and manage subcontract performance.
- Use a risk-based approach to developing sourcing strategies and negotiating contract language.
- Support the team and assist in the negotiations and execution of complex subcontracts and requirements.
- Ensure the team is obtaining proper approvals from internal stakeholders for subcontract actions in accordance with the company's delegation of authority.
- Build and maintain external vendor relationships for key subcontractors.
- Provide input to policies and procedures.
- Respond to contract audit reviews to satisfy reporting requirements.
Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000 annually.
