About the role

Sidebar has a strong product market fit and we are rapidly growing our member base and are seeking a talented Content Marketer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective digital marketing strategies to enhance Sidebar’s brand presence, attract members, and drive business growth.

As a Content Marketer, you’ll…

  • Develop and execute Sidebar’s content marketing strategy to drive awareness and new memberships across a variety of channels (SEO, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)

  • Develop a playbook for generating traffic and memberships with a combination of content types and activations (e.g. articles, online events, boosted posts, etc.)

  • Leverage data analytics to identify and segment potential members, ensuring proper audience targeting, reach and messaging

  • Monitor and analyze performance, adjusting strategies as needed to maximize ROI

  • Conduct A/B testing to refine content, visuals, and targeting parameters for optimal results

  • Manage and allocate budgets effectively to achieve program objectives and business goals

  • Provide regular reports on budget utilization and performance metrics

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging content opportunities to reach our target audience

About you

You’ll thrive as a Content Marketer at Sidebar, if you have:

  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful content marketing strategies that drive traffic and customer acquisition

  • Specific experience with LinkedIn, SEO, and TikTok

  • Excellent copywriting and content creation know-how

  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Successfully grown a social media audience in a B2C environment with demonstrated results

  • Strong knowledge of social media channel growth strategies and best practices, as well as a strong desire to continue learning in order to stay on top of social media marketing trends and emerging platforms

  • Results-driven and detail-oriented with the desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals

  • Strong self-organizational and time management skills
