SUMMARY

The Project Manager leads key initiatives to drive improved quality, operational, and/or financial performance with a high degree of autonomy. The Project Manager partners with field teams, IT, Quality Improvement, etc. to stand-up, plan, and deliver high-impact, strategic projects. Primary responsibilities include identifying and monitoring measures of success, unblocking stuck actions through escalation or hands-on support, and facilitating transition plans upon project completion.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below.

• Project Management:

◦ Own the successful execution and implementation of initiatives. This includes ensuring that projects are completed on time and with a quality of implementation that leads to impactful results ◦ Compose project plans, lead workstreams, and track the progress of intended deliverables and metrics, and support adoption ◦ Effectively identify, raise, diagnose, and solve any risks or anomalies that impact the project

• Strategic Initiatives:

◦ Lead opportunities for improvement within designated project areas with exploratory or defined scope. This may include detailing the problem, organizing a cross-functional team, and proposing and summarizing findings / recommendations that enable executive management to make critical decisions

• Analysis:

◦ When appropriate, complete analyses on current business processes, operating model and staffing levels, industry best practices, or other execution-related tasks to accelerate progress

• Communication:

◦ Communicate results, timelines and status, to a broad and targeted audience, including the most senior executives in the company, on an informal and formal basis ◦ Facilitate discussions as a liaison between functional and field teams, including “translating” problem statements or requirements on behalf of key stakeholders

• Leadership:

◦ Influence and foster an organizational culture of innovation and collaboration across broader Sevita teams

  • Performs other related duties and activities as required

Minimum Knowledge and Skills required by the Job The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required to perform the job.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred
  • 5-10 years of professional experience with preference for those with operational consulting experience

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

  • Formal training in one or more process improvement methodologies preferred
  • PMP/agile certification and/or change management certification preferred

Other Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to direct and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve both tactical and strategic goals.
  • Strong analytical skills, as well as facilitation, critical thinking, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability driving performance excellence initiatives across a diverse set of services, employees, and geographies resulting in tangible quality, operational, and financial improvement
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with a high degree of initiative.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and demands.
  • Strong fit into Sevita’s collaborative culture and operating model centered on individuals served.

Other Requirements:

  • Travel as needed; 25% estimated but not guaranteed

Physical Requirements:

  • Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
