  • Uphold Engineering Excellence: Practice and advocate for modern engineering best practices, including robust testing, clear documentation, and a focus on observability.

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience: 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a proven track record of building and scaling backend systems.

  • Microservices Experience: Proven, hands-on experience building and operating features within a microservices architecture is crucial for this role.

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of our tech stack, including C# / .NET, Web APIs, and databases like MongoDB and Microsoft SQL Server. Experience with caching technologies like Redis is also a plus.

  • Domain Interest:Experience or a strong interest in Identity & Access Management (IAM) concepts and protocols (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, SCIM) is a major plus.

  • Architectural Awareness: A solid understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architectures.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to take on complex, ambiguous initiatives and drive them to completion with a high degree of individual ownership.

  • Modern Engineering Practices: A commitment to software quality, with experience in unit testing, CI/CD, and an awareness of concepts like Test-Driven Development (TDD) and observability.

  • Communication: Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with your teammates and partners in product management.

  • Growth Mindset: We realize we don’t know it all, but we’re learning and striving to build a better product every day. You share this passion for continuous learning and improvement.
