Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage cloud infrastructure within AWS, ensuring systems are secure, reliable, and scalable.
- Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure-as-code to provision and manage cloud resources consistently and securely.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or comparable automation tools to support efficient and reliable deployments.
- Support and maintain integrations between Salesforce, AWS services, and third-party platforms via APIs and event-driven architectures.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and integration issues across development, staging, and production environments.
- Collaborate with software engineers, data teams, and platform stakeholders to improve development workflows, deployment reliability, and system performance.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- ~5 years of experience asa DevOps Engineer.
- Strong expertise with AWS across core services and cloud architecture.
- EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and related infrastructure
- Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK, or similar.
- Proven experience managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions or similar.
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices (DevSecOps is a bonus).
- Experience working with APIs and system integrations.
- Experience upgrading and maintaining backend and frontend dependencies while maintaining system stability and security.
- Demonstrated ability to incorporate AI-assisted development tools (such as Cursor, Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) into your engineering workflow.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work closely with a distributed team.
AI-Augmented Engineering:
The ideal candidate already integrates AI into their daily workflow and understands how to combine AI assistance with strong engineering judgment.
