We are currently searching for an AI Software Engineer:

Responsibilities

• Engineer well-architected, efficient, scalable, stable, and secure web applications and backend services, with a strong emphasis on APIs and backend functionality.
• Develop scalable Generative AI systems usable across diverse projects and platforms.
• Stay updated on modern software engineering practices, applying them to real-world systems.
• Collaborate with an international engineering and product team to deliver cross-functional innovation.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software development with frontend (React JS OR Next JS) and backend technologies (Java OR .NET)
• Experience using version control systems such as Git, and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Knowledge of security protocols (OAuth, Entra ID, SSO, Okta) and securing applications.
• Experience in various integration patterns (REST, gRPC, Web Sockets, etc.).
• Strong unit/integration testing practices and code review skills.
• Performance testing, debugging, and optimizing web services.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in global teams.

Desired

• Experience using Generative AI software engineering tools like Cursor or GitHub Copilot.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure. including Python.
• Proficiency in containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with reinforcement learning, NLP, or other advanced AI techniques.
• Experience with cloud-based AI services (e.g., Azure AI Studio, AWS Bedrock, Hugging Face).
• Exposure to IaC tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with RAG ingestion, data cleansing, curation, and Slack integration in AI systems.

Languages

• Advanced Oral English.
• Native Spanish.

• Experience in Software Development: 6+ years of experience in software development using a combination of frontend (React JS, Next JS), backend (Java, .NET), and Python technologies.
• Cloud Computing: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
• DevOps & Security: Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and proficiency in containerization with Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of security protocols (OAuth, Entra ID, SSO, Okta) is also required.
• Integration Patterns & Testing: Experience with various integration patterns (REST, gRPC, Web Sockets) and strong skills in unit/integration testing, as well as performance testing, debugging, and code reviews.
• Generative AI: Experience with Generative AI software engineering tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot) and cloud-based AI services (Azure AI Studio, AWS Bedrock, Hugging Face).
• Advanced AI Techniques: Familiarity with reinforcement learning, NLP, or other advanced AI techniques.
• Data & AI Infrastructure: Experience with RAG ingestion, data cleansing, and Slack integration in AI systems, along with exposure to IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible.

Locations:

• Candidates in Mexico, Costa Rica, Brazil, Colombia, or Argentina—in LATAM in general—can fill the role.
