Sedron Technologies is hiring a Permit Manager working remotely!
Founded in 2014 and headquartered in the Pacific Northwest, Sedron Technologies designs, manufactures, installs, and operates advanced water and waste upcycling technologies. With a focus on transforming the paradigm from waste processing to resource recovery, Sedron Technologies works with municipal, agricultural, and industrial customers to process their "waste" into climate-smart commodities through environmentally and financially sustainable methods.
As a Permit Manager, reporting directly to the VP of Project Delivery, you will be responsible for leading all permitting efforts for each of our new facilities across the United States. This role involves collaborating with regulatory agencies, internal teams, and Company leadership. This role is critical in enabling the deployment of transformative technologies that convert waste into sustainable resources.
Because we design, build, commission, and operate our technologies, we are looking for individuals who can meet the following essential functions of the position:
- Develop and implement comprehensive permitting plans for greenfield brownfield projects, including timelines, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.
- Identify all applicable federal, state, and local permits and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the primary liaison with permitting agencies, regulatory bodies, and local jurisdictions.
- Coordinate public hearings, environmental reviews, and stakeholder consultations as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Engineering, Legal, Environmental, and Construction) to ensure permitting requirements are fully integrated into project planning and execution.
- Review technical documentation and engineering plans to ensure alignment with permit conditions.
- Prepare and submit complete and accurate permit applications, including required studies and environmental assessments.
- Track and manage permit conditions and ensure compliance throughout project lifecycle.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all permits, correspondence, and regulatory submittals.
- Proactively identify permitting risks and propose solutions to avoid delays or non-compliance.
- Monitor regulatory changes and advise project teams on implications.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in permitting roles within the, wastewater treatment, solid waste, energy generation, industrial construction or infrastructure sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations, land use permitting, and general knowledge of federal/state/local permitting sectors across multiple U.S. jurisdictions.
·Prior experience in an EPC environment.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to conduct fieldwork and travel as required.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Compensation range for this role is between $120,000-140,000.
- The range provided is Sedron’s estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities.
