Requirements
- 8+ years of backend/product engineering experience
- Principal engineer level or equivalent
- Some engineering management experience (1–3 years)
- Strong hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools (Cursor, Claude)
- OOP fundamentals
- Experience building or integrating AI/ML features in production
- Experience leading system design on significant projects
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Relational database design and SQL optimisation
- Experience designing technical interviews and evaluating senior engineering candidates
- Strong written and in-person communication
- Startup experience
