We are Scout Motors, and we're carrying forward the heritage of one of the most iconic American vehicles in history. The original Scout, dating back to 1960, forged the path for future generations of rugged SUVs and will do so once again. But Scout is more than just a brand; it's a legacy steeped in a culture of exploration, caretaking, and hard work. To be a Scout isn't just to be part of a company; it's to be a visionary and a leader, someone who seeks new paths and imparts lessons learned to others, leading them forward to new horizons. Together with the help of our community, we're designing, engineering, and building the next generation of all-electric trucks and rugged SUVs for the doers and the ones who can't be held back. For the ones who roll up their sleeves, push forward, endure the elements, and get the job done. No frills, no excuses, no quitting.

We're revitalizing an icon, a brand, and a movement that unites a community of hardworking people. Our roots run deep, but they don't define us. We're blending DNA from the SUV that started it all with the pulse of modern technology to create something unique, a true original just like the first Scouts. This is more than a vehicle; it's a legacy of exploration and adventure, reimagined for today. The Scout brand is all about respect: respect for the environment by developing electric vehicles with the capability to get you to any location; respect for the past and the future by taking an iconic American brand, electrifying it, digitizing it, and loading it with American innovation; respect for communities by creating a company that stands for its people and its customers; and respect for both work and play, with vehicles that are equally at home at a campsite, a job site, or on a Tuesday commute. We are growing every day and are seeking the next generation of Scouts to join our ranks. We're here for the long run, and as we expand, we'll stay true to our roots. We work and build with pride, and that sentiment doesn't stop once a Scout vehicle lands in a driveway. Through a national network of Scout Motors retail locations and dedicated customer support, you and your vehicle will always have Scout Motors by your side. Automotive manufacturing is not for the faint of heart, but the challenge becomes less daunting with the backing of Volkswagen Group, whose manufacturing prowess is leveraged in Blythewood, South Carolina, to produce high-quality Scout vehicles. Our vehicles will be American-born and American-made, engineered in Detroit, Michigan, built in South Carolina, and backed by this expertise. This is the next great American motor company, forged from the past, heading towards a bright future.
