SCL Health, now part of Intermountain Health, is a faith-based, nonprofit healthcare organization dedicated to improving the health of the people and communities they serve, especially those who are poor and vulnerable. Founded in 1873 with the establishment of Saint Joseph Hospital by the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth in Denver, SCL Health has grown into a comprehensive health system with annual revenues exceeding $2.5 billion. The organization operates multiple hospitals, 210+ physician clinics, home health care, hospice, mental health care, and safety-net services across Colorado and Montana, employing over 18,000 full-time associates and more than 600 employed providers who are committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care.

Following the merger with Intermountain Healthcare in 2022, SCL Health has joined forces with one of the nation's leading nonprofit health systems, creating an expanded network of 34 hospitals and 400 clinics serving patients across Utah, Idaho, Nevada, Colorado, Montana, and Wyoming. Together, the combined organization serves more than 3 million telehealth patients and contributed $929 million to improve community health in a single year. This partnership has strengthened their mission of helping people live the healthiest lives possible through quality, sustainable, and affordable care, while maintaining a focus on clinical excellence, empathy, service, and community partnership.
