Your Key Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced leader to head our worldwide Cryptographic Solutions team. This role coordinates global crypto requests, drives technical realization and industrialization, ensures compliance with IT Security standards, and acts as a central interface to customer and product teams. You will manage skills, capacity, and budgets, foster cross-team alignment, and own the roadmap for cryptographic platforms and services.

Team Scope and Responsibilities

  • Coordination of new crypto requests from product teams, ensuring clarity of requirements and prioritization.
  • Consulting on technical realization and industrialization, aligning solutions to business needs and operational constraints.
  • Delivery of solutions based on defined standards and our technology stack, with repeatable, secure implementation practices.
  • Product ownership for developed cryptographic components and services, including lifecycle management.
  • Industrialization and ramp-up support for divisions and plants to ensure scalable, reliable deployment.
  • 3rd-level support according to defined SLAs, including incident resolution and root-cause analysis.
  • Primary customer interface for cryptographic topics within the organization (e.g., central IT or ODIT-like units), ensuring seamless stakeholder communication
  • Coordinate and lead the worldwide Crypto team, establishing clear goals, processes, and delivery standards.
  • Manage skills and capacity across team members; plan hiring, training, and workforce allocation.
  • Drive information exchange and coordination, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing across regions and functions.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable IT Security standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive innovation for the technical platforms and applied processes (e.g., automation, scalability, observability).
  • Create and maintain the roadmap based on upcoming business needs and strategic priorities.
  • Plan and manage resources and budgets, including vendor management and cost optimization.

Your Qualifications

    • Several years of experience in a production and/or IT environment.
    • Project leadership experience with internal and external customers, including budget responsibility.
    • Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders.
    • Strong understanding of IT systems and IT architecture, including secure service design.
    • Proven people leadership, providing support, guidance, and performance development.
    • English proficiency at C1 level.
    • Valid Driver’s License (Class B).

    Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

    • Experience with cryptographic solutions such as PKI, key management, HSMs, code signing, and certificate lifecycle management.
    • Familiarity with secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC), compliance frameworks, and enterprise IT Security standards.
    • Background in industrialization of software components for manufacturing or large-scale operations.
    • Experience operating SLA-based support services and managing customer-facing interfaces.
    • Knowledge of cloud or hybrid architectures relevant to crypto services (e.g., secret management, secure enclaves).
