In 2014, the team and technology were spun off to establish an independent software company, with Scan-IT officially starting operations on January 1, 2015. Today, the company maintains its primary development center in Pune, India, while expanding with a secondary development center in Barcelona, Spain. Scan-IT's flagship product, Phoenix, is a cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system utilizing AWS and Oracle infrastructure, operating across more than 35 countries on three continents with over 3,000 users.
