The Role
We're looking for an In-House Designer to join our marketing production team here at Scaling.com. This role is heavily focused on static ad creation for Meta and other paid channels — though miscellaneous design opportunities may present themselves across departments.
This isn't template work. We need someone who can produce at the quality and engagement level of MasterClass or Apple — elevated, sophisticated, premium — while still driving direct click-through results. Your work will capture attention, communicate big ideas fast, and speak to high-level entrepreneurs.
You'll be designing ads that promote our free audiobook, The Science of Scaling (NYT Best seller, foreword by Tony Robbins), drive applications to our coaching program, and support the launch of multiple new books. You'll work directly with our creative team and receive mentorship from Dr. Benjamin Hardy and our leadership — experience that, frankly, normally costs hundreds of thousands of dollars to access.

Requirements
What You'll Do
- Transform creative briefs and concepts into high-converting static ads for Meta, YouTube, and other paid channels
- Deliver at volume — approximately 50-100 static ad variations per week (during the first two months for our big launch)
- Maintain premium design standards while optimizing for performance and conversion
- Create occasional 2D motion graphics — vector-style animations, animated typography, kinetic text treatments
- Iterate quickly based on performance data and feedback to improve results over time
- Adapt our core intellectual property (books, VSLs, training content) into compelling ad creative
- Collaborate with our creative team to develop new visual directions and ad angles
- Occasionally support other departments on web design, UI design, or other visual projects — and consult on design decisions across the company
What You Bring
- A strong portfolio demonstrating static ad work — ideally direct response or performance marketing
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects a plus)
- An eye for premium, editorial-quality / typographical design — you know what "premium-standard" means and can deliver it
- Ability to work fast without sacrificing quality
- 2D animation skills (vector, typography, motion graphics) — not required but a strong plus
- A mind for business — you understand entrepreneurs, you get marketing, and you can absorb complex concepts quickly
- Desire to learn and grow — you want mentorship, feedback, and to be pushed to get better
- Experience with web design or UI design is a plus — if you've worked on landing pages, product interfaces, or brand systems, we'd love to hear about it
