SUMMARY

The Tier 3 ClientSupport Engineer (Systems Engineer- Hosted Services) is a senior roleresponsible for maintaining and supporting multi-tenant Citrix, Exchange,VMware, and datacenter environments. You will handle escalated issues, ensureplatform stability through proactive monitoring, and manage critical hostedinfrastructure across Windows Server, networking, and virtualizationtechnologies. The position requires strong technical expertise, clearcommunication, and the ability to identify and resolve complex problemsquickly. You will work closely with Helpdesk teams and vendors, provideperiodic after-hours escalation support, and deliver regular updates on ticketsand projects. Success is measured by your ability to resolve escalations efficiently, maintain high uptime, and contribute to a reliable and collaborativeoperational environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Respond to escalated issues from CSE and RemoteSupport teams in a timely
    fashion
  • Ownership and follow up of pending issues toresolution
  • Management of multi-tenant hosted Citrixplatform in a team based
    environment.
  • Respond and action alerts from centralizedmanagement system to maintain
    healthof platform
  • Management of VMware virtualized environment ina team-based environment.
  • Management of multi-tenant hosted Exchangeplatform in a team based
    environment.
  • Management and maintenance of physicaldatacenter resources.
  • Work with vendors and other service providersto resolve client escalated
    issues
  • Provide off-hours support on a rotatingschedule every 2-3 months as escalation
    forhelpdesk team.
  • Have high interaction with the Helpdesk team fostering positive and effective
    workingrelationship
  • Provide weekly status updates on outstandingtickets and current projects

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years of experience ina systems administration role
  • BS/BA Preferred in MIS ComputerScience or similar focus
  • Microsoft Certified (MCSE) and VMWareCertified (VCP VCA) a plus
  • Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2012/R2/2016 ActiveDirectory and Exchange 2013/2016 and Office 365.
  • Hands-on experience working with Cisco Call Manager (Cisco UCSC)
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts TCP/IP LAN/WAN DHCP DNSRouting Switching and Firewalls
  • Solid working knowledge of Citrix XenApp 7
  • Knowledge of mobile device management software (Intune)
  • Knowledge of antivirus and anti-SPAM software (Proofpoint,Mimecast.)
  • Familiar with Storage Area Networks (Nimble and Pure Storage) andVirtualization (vCenter)
  • Familiar with public cloud hosting platforms (Azure and AWS)
  • Scripting knowledge (VB Batch WSH PowerShell)
  • Linux experience would be advantageous
  • Highly logical thinker and skilled in identifying root cause ofproblems.
  • Must be able to work both independently with limited supervision andin project team-oriented work groups.
  • Must be able to work in a multicultural environment and must be seenas an ambassador of goodwill
  • Must have availability to work nights and some weekends should theneed arise

  • Should be willing to accept a long-termwork-from-home arrangement.
  • Should be amenable to a permanent night shiftschedule.
