Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking professional to join our team in the role of Atlassian Application Administrator with a specialized focus on Agile Scrum methodology. This is not your typical implementation expert position; we are looking for someone who is passionate about Scrum and technology, utilizing technology to enhance business collaboration through Scrum practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Atlassian applications, particularly Jira, and a deep understanding of Agile Scrum principles.

Job Location:

You have the flexibility to work remotely from any part of Germany or choose to collaborate with your IT colleagues by joining them at the Munich office.

Responsibilities:

  • Agile Scrum Expertise:
    • Champion Agile Scrum methodology, fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.
    • Collaborate with teams to understand and enhance their Scrum processes, leveraging technology for efficiency and acceleration.
  • Jira Configuration for Scrum Framework:
    • Configure Jira to support and optimize Agile Scrum frameworks.
    • Streamline workflows, boards, and customizations to align with Scrum principles.
  • Jira Service Management and Data-Driven Workflows:
    • Bonus: Experience with Jira Service Management, focusing on closed-loop workflows for knowledge creation.
    • Develop self-service workflows based on past support data, enabling end-users to resolve issues independently.
  • Identity Management and Access Governance:
    • Integrate the Atlassian suite with external Identity Providers (IdP) such as AzureAD/EntraID.
    • Implement advanced Roll-Based Access Control (RBAC) and comprehensive access governance within the Atlassian suite.
  • Integration with CI/CD Flows:
    • Collaborate with development teams to integrate Jira with CI/CD flows, particularly in Github.
    • Ensure seamless source control integration with tasks in Scrum sprints.

Candidate Profile:

  • Passion for Scrum and Technology:
    • Demonstrated enthusiasm for Agile Scrum principles and leveraging technology to enhance business processes.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Extensive experience in Atlassian application administration, particularly Jira Software.
    • Bonus: Familiarity with Jira Service Management and creating data-driven closed-loop workflows.
  • Identity Management and Security:
    • Experience in integrating Atlassian with external IdPs, focusing on RBAC and access governance.
    • Strong understanding of security best practices within the Atlassian suite.
  • CI/CD Integration:
    • Proven experience integrating Jira with CI/CD flows, especially in Github.
    • Familiarity with source control integration within Scrum sprints.
  • Collaborative Mindset:
    • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, translating business needs into efficient and effective Jira configurations.

Requirements

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong English proficiency, spoken and written.
  • Certified Scrum Master is a plus but not required.
  • Willingness to apply yourself outside the scope of this role.
