We are seeking a Treasury Payment Assistant to support our Treasury team in all aspects of the function, including approving payments, reviewing daily cash activity, and maintaining accurate reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have experience working within the treasury function of a multinational business and be able to influence and drive change in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Approve Finance and Treasury payments in line with internal controls and compliance requirements.
- Review and analyze daily cash activity to ensure accurate visibility of the liquidity position.
- Provide support for team and business queries and deliver training as needed.
- Submit Money Market transactions and maintain accurate reconciliations.
- Reconcile loan agreements and ensure all related records are complete and up to date.
- Prepare month-end reports and conduct analysis of bank charges.
- Review and maintain the daily cash balance file.
- Assist the Treasury Director in preparing the Group cash forecast.
- Help maintain the Group’s daily bank balance information across all entities.
- Liaise with internal teams to fulfil bank requirements when entering new markets.
- Document key Treasury processes and procedures to support operational consistency and compliance.
- Support project initiatives and contribute to cross-functional work as required.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency across the Treasury function.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Produce routine reports, schedules, and summaries for the business as required.
- Enter and approve payments within Treasury Management Systems.
- Ensure that month-end account statements are accurately balanced within Treasury Management Systems.
