AR and UY onlyWe are seeking an Accountant with US GAAP experience to serve as the primary owner of our accounting function. The role involves end-to-end ownership of accounting processes, working closely with leadership, and ensuring accurate and timely financials.
Requirements
- 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally combining public accounting and industry experience
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, including ASC 606
- Experience owning or heavily supporting audits
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- Strong general ledger background (month-end close, reconciliations, accruals, variance analysis)
- Comfortable operating as the sole accountant in a startup or high-growth environment
- Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills (PivotTables, Lookups, advanced formulas)
- Experience working with SQL-based reports or a willingness to learn and write SQL queries using modern tools
- Comfortable leveraging AI tools to research issues, improve workflows, and develop solutions
- Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
