Job Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in product recommendations by providing insights and technical expertise.
- Create, launch, and manage RWS studies within AOP Connect, ensuring alignment with client expectations and study objectives.
- Review and assess the accuracy and relevance of researcher-submitted responses, providing feedback and guidance as needed.
- Present study findings to clients in a clear and professional manner during client status calls.
- Provide technical guidance and support to researchers, leveraging your expertise in patents and related technical fields.
- Oversee the closure of studies, including the preparation of final reports and the administration of researcher rewards.
- Collaborate closely with other study managers and researchers to ensure the successful execution of research projects.
- Maintain a keen eye for detail to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all deliverables.
- Successful creation, launch, and management of RWS studies in AOP Connect.
- Timely and accurate review of researcher-submitted responses.
- Clear and concise presentation of study results to clients during status calls.
- Effective technical guidance provided to researchers to ensure the accuracy and quality of research.
Skills & Experience
- Engineering degree with expertise in electrical engineering, physics, or telecommunications
- Law degree with 7+ years of experience in patent law, including experience in patent search and/or patent examination. Preferably a former patent examiner.
- Strong experience in patent searches and the ability to review various patents and technical/scientific literature.
- Excellent oral presentation and technical writing skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
- Proven ability to work productively and efficiently with other team members, including study managers and researchers.

Base pay
$110,000 - $120,000 / year
Actual rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to: position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other perks, as outlined in any formal offer made.
