The Multi-Source Execution & Supplier Transitions E&P Commodity Sourcing & Growth Project Senior Manager will report directly into a Director within the Integrated Supplier Management Team Lead for Energetics and Propulsion (E&P) Multi-Source Strategy and Supplier Transitions. Your goal is to manage the E&P supply base health, provide the methods, processes, and data to support commodity strategies and develop a robust supply base of highly capable suppliers across all (E&P) ISM Suppliers that produce. One-Shots / Pyros / Initiators / AFD / Rocket Motors and Warheads.

In this role you will use data to align commodity demand needs with existing/incumbent supplier capacity and capability, develop the business case (ROI) for improvement/alternate source and implement the solution as determined by commodity and business unit / program partnership using Project Management tools. This position will work in collaboration with Mission Assurance, Engineering, Material Program Management, Acquisition, Operations, and Program Management Strategic Sourcing, Commodity Management, and Supplier Performance Management the E&P Commodity Sourcing Supplier Transition & Growth Senior Manager to recognize operational needs, characterize demand growth across the commodity through existing capacity and capability understanding, introduce continual improvement activities, identify potential trends, define investment needs, and distinguish risks & opportunities for further analysis and action. This role requires you to partner with other teams across RTX to align both RAY and corporate projects to develop common/unique solutions for the company.

This role will interact both with SBU partners, mainly in the Tucson, AZ, McKinney, TX, Huntsville, AL and / or Andover , MA locations, but is mainly a supplier-facing role with travel and onsite interactions anticipated at supplier locations.

What You Will Do:

  • Analyze data to provide proactive insights on running the business and supporting growth forecast
  • Project plan, IMS development (manage cost, quality, schedule) of a supplier start up or transition
  • Project Management through the use of critical chain tools
  • Ability to analyze supplier capabilities to meet business needs, including mapping of supplier capabilities to demand and forecast
  • Partnership in standing up supplier factories
  • Transition product to production in the supply base
  • Communication at all levels of the business
  • Develop and manage strategic relationships across the functions and SBUs
  • Develop, mature, and implement strategies for growth for all E & P commodities
  • Work across multiple functions and teams to collaborate meaningful metrics and data
  • Create reports, dashboards and "As Requested" data development
  • Collaborate cross functionally to establish a "Grow, Maintain, Reduce, Exit (GMRE)” supplier strategy with detailed execution plans
  • Evaluate active risks & opportunities with programs to prioritize near term mitigation and/or capture projects
  • Support multiple supply chain organizations, to include Procurement, and Strategic Sourcing, to ensure strategies are aligned with technology roadmaps
  • Manage multiple small and large projects at a time (in partnership with a Project Manager)
  • Analyze and interpret various Raytheon data sources regarding program and supplier forecasts
  • Understanding of data in an effort to get to a "single source" of data for the Supplier Management Organization

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, business, finance, or related field and 10 years related experience or an advanced degree and 7 years related experience.
  • Ability to travel approximately 40% domestically, some international travel may be required.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Understanding of how energetics and propulsion systems are produced

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience with program management principles such as development lifecycle, risk management, action item management, metrics management, and/or subcontract management
  • Experience with program budgets, financial forecasting, and cost/schedule management
  • Experience in producing energetics or propulsion systems
  • Experience transitioning product to new suppliers
  • Experience in managing multiple priorities and maintaining deadlines
  • Strong facilitating and team-coordination skills including ability to lead by influence.
  • Experience and or knowledge of resource planning software (SAP)
  • Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work well with customers, suppliers, and in a team environment
  • Self-starter, ability to work with little direction
  • Thinking outside the box mindset. Creative & Innovative Solutions
  • Experienced and Knowledgeable in Microsoft Applications, including but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams and Excel
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of end-to-end product life-cycle management through a supply chain organization
  • Understanding of how energetics and propulsion systems are produced

This position currently is designated as remote. Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home) but may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. The successful candidate for this role will be required to reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. territories)

Typically requires:

A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years

in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited

by local laws/regulations.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
