Job Summary:

The candidate will be joining the Consumer Experience and Operations (CXO) Advanced Visualization & Proposal Services (AVPS) team as the manager for the agile Development Team. Candidate will be responsible for both managing the overall team and developing advanced visualization content. The team is responsible for supporting Advanced Visualization value streams across the entire product lifecycle, from capture to sustainment. The candidate will help develop and maintain interactive applications, interactive tools, technology proof of concepts, and customer driven content, which will be deployed across a wide variety of platforms, to include large scale visualization screens, VR, AR, web, and mobile devices. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for managing the budget and headcount for the team, defining the technology roadmap with senior architects, and assisting with project planning and estimating. The position is fully Remote. This position is currently designated as fully remote. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories).

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • ·Manage development team staff - supporting their career growth, allocating resources, coordinating budgets, and overseeing projects.
  • ·Work with product owners to plan advanced visualization projects and estimate required effort.
  • ·Work with senior technical leaders to develop team’s strategy and tech roadmap.
  • ·Design and develop immersive and interactive applications and related content using modern gaming engines.
  • ·Establish, collect, and report metrics on health of Development Team.
  • ·Create and nurture partnerships to identify use cases, gather requirements, and grow adoption of our services and products.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Role Typically requires Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 6 years relevant experience. Those with Associate’s degrees (plus 10 years of relevant experience) or are non-degreed (at least 12 years of relevant experience) will also be considered.
  • Experience creating real-time applications with Unity game development engine.
  • Experience planning projects and creating time estimates.
  • Experience leading and mentoring a technical/development team.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a major in computer science, software engineering, or game design.
  • Experience with Agile processes and Jira Tools.
  • Experience with Unity’s suite of tools such as Unity Version Control, Unity Build Manager, and PiXYZ Studio.
  • Experience with 3D modeling tools (ex: Maya, Substance Painter, or Blender) .
  • Experience developing AR/VR applications for various headsets.
  • Experience with advanced audio / video equipment including large scale screens, NVIDIA GPU technologies, video matrix switchers, and 3D stereoscopic equipment.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
