Collins Aerospace Digital Technology (DT) is seeking a Director of Infrastructure - Program Work Environment (PWE). This leader will define strategy, tactical plans, and roles / responsibilities for a team of over 130 members. Part of the strategy definition will include the design and implementation of standardized, scalable digital solutions that will create a competitive advantage for our programs. In this role you will work closely with other Collins DT groups, as well as SBU Executive leadership.
As a leader of leaders your responsibility is to build strong, collaborative relationships with the SBU Executive Leaders, stakeholders within Collins DT, cyber, compliance, technology vendors and suppliers to accomplish the goals and objectives of the organization.
**This role may be in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Richardson, TX, or near a major Collins site. Remote may be considered with the ability to travel up to 50%. **
What YOU will do:
Partner with Collins Strategic Business Units (SBU) to manage the footprint of supported classified and unclassified access and ensure security controls are in accordance with RTX policies, applicable laws, and best practices across the Americas. This position also needs to be understood and ensure compliance with any Government or contract specific requirements.
Build and maintain a strong partnership with SBU leadership to define, fund and deliver on committed outcomes, including ensuring accurate proposal bids and required funding
Establish an overall sustainment approach for PWEs, including end-user services, system patching, compliance and obsolescence management.
Develop and maintain meaningful metrics to provide visibility to the execution progress, overall performance, and areas for growth and development.
Grow and develop talent across the large organization (>130 members).
Attract new talent to the organization.
Communicate risks, issues, challenges, and progress of projects to executive leadership, peers and employees.
Excellent communications skills - ability to engage in deep technical discussions with customers and peers and become a trusted technical advisor.
Develop roadmaps and strategies for the entire PWE and lab environment.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Typically requires University Degree and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years.
Demonstrated success building buy-in for an innovative and bold vision, ability to influence and motivate people across a broad variety of job functions through your relationships.
Demonstrated ability to make the people and teams around you better through mentorship, collaboration, and guiding employees towards best practices.
Proven experience leading and managing similar teams, scope and initiatives.
Lead, manage, motivate, and mentor a team of highly skilled technologists, and provide performance feedback / coaching.
Experience with large technology transformations efforts.
Experience in Classified Lab development, operations and/or sustainment.
Ability to manage multiple projects, activities, and tasks simultaneously.
Ability to obtain DOD Security Clearance.
7+ years of operational support experience including leading technical teams.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience in leading and working in an agile operational environment.
Experience with negotiating requirements and issue closure with customers and/or Government.
Possess knowledge and hands-on experience with the implementation of ITIL and transformation to Agile methodology.

The salary range for this role is 176,000 USD - 352,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
