We have an exciting opportunity for a Contracts Compliance Lead who will be a critical partner within the Contracts Operations & Strategy organization. This position will regularly interface with government stakeholders and key Supply Chain, Finance and Legal, Contracts & Compliance partners to develop, implement and measure risk mitigation strategies for the Contracts organization and Raytheon Company. As a proactive, engaged and influential member of the Policy & Compliance team, this position will focus tactically on helping the organization cultivate greater discipline in behaviors that reduce compliance risk without sacrificing operational velocity to achieve short- and long-term business goals.

This role has been deemed to be remote – work responsibilities will be done primarily off-site. While remote employees’ work is not regularly done on-site, there may be requirements to come on-site periodically. With this in mind, candidates should be located in or around one of Raytheon’s primary locations: Tucson, AZ; El Segundo, CA; Aurora, CO; Farmington, CT; North Boston, MA; McKinney, TX; Northern VA. Please note that role type assignments are not permanent and may change as position responsibilities change due to business needs or if you change positions.

What You Will Do:

  • Serve as the Post Award Audit (PAA) Coordinator for the Contracts organization, identifying common trends & recommending Contracts policy updates, training, or communications, as required, to address them

  • Develop strong, ongoing relationships with government stakeholders (e.g., Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA)) to ensure timely post award audit coordination and support

  • Oversee the compilation and reporting of quarterly audit activity & results for senior stakeholders, providing insights that strengthencontinuous improvement in regulatory compliance

  • Lead internal & external audit support activities for the Contracts organization, including the coordination of data mining and reporting during field work by audit teams

  • Work closely with key functional stakeholders to assess and consult on regulatory compliance matters for the Contracts organization

  • Lead the team of Contracts compliance professionals to provide strategic support for ongoing policy compliance monitoring activities, in close coordination with internal business partners, and support development of data-driven insights for key team members

  • Participate in the Truth In Negotiations Act (TINA) Compliance Working Group, serving as the policy compliance & corrective action liaison the Contracts organization

  • Travel Requirements – 5-10%

Qualifications You Must Have:

Education & Experience

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or, in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

  • Experience administering and negotiating U.S. Government contracts under the Federal Acquisition Requirements (FAR), the Defense Federal Actuations Supplement (DFARS), ITAR and other Government procurement regulations

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Detail oriented, and the ability to develop options and solutions that are practical and can be readily acted upon

  • Possess a positive, cooperative attitude, but assertive when necessary to comply with company policies and Government regulations and laws

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Adobe

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
