United States onlyThe Design Certification Engineering Group is seeking an experienced Associate Director Systems Engineer to support Avionics certification programs. This would be in the Airborne Electronic Hardware (AEH) discipline. The candidate is expected to have product or system certification experience in this AEH discipline. This position includes review and approval of certification compliance data, interface with customers, suppliers, and external certification authorities, and hands-on work with engineering teams to provide guidance in the development of and adherence to certification-related processes.
Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- 8 years of progressively responsible engineering experience, including up to 4 years of educational experience.
- Must have passed or be able to pass the TSO Compliance Representative (TCR) application/selection process to be nominated by Avionics Certification and authorized as a compliance approver.
