IT Project Manager (Secret Clearance)

rockITdata is seeking an IT Project Manager to join our team. This role will oversee and manage the execution of large-scale federal IT projects. This role ensures alignment with client goals and adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards. Responsibilities include comprehensive planning, coordination, and implementation of project activities, including resource allocation, risk management, and performance monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end management of IT projects in a federal contracting environment, ensuring alignment with client objectives.

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.

• Allocate resources effectively, manage project risks, and monitor performance to ensure project milestones are achieved.

• Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, including technical and non-technical personnel, to ensure seamless communication and project execution.

• Employ Agile methodologies to enhance project efficiency and flexibility, particularly for infrastructure engineering projects.

• Prepare and present project updates, reports, and performance metrics to clients and senior leadership.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) in IT, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT project management or a related role.

• Proven experience in a federal contracting environment with knowledge of Agile methodologies and infrastructure engineering projects.

• Strong leadership and communication skills to interface effectively with diverse stakeholders.

• Demonstrated expertise in risk management, resource allocation, and performance monitoring.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
