Full Stack Developer (Shopify/Hydrogen & Python/Django)

Location: Remote

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer with experience in Python/Django, React, Shopify/Hydrogen to help build and maintain modern e-commerce platforms. This role involves frontend development, backend integrations, API development, deployment automation, and ongoing optimization of a headless commerce environment.

The ideal candidate is a practical problem-solver who can work independently, communicate effectively, and contribute across the full technology stack.

📌Responsabilities

Frontend Development
• Build and maintain custom Shopify Hydrogen storefronts using React
• Develop responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and modern React frameworks
• Improve frontend performance, usability, and maintainability
• Support migrations from legacy storefront technologies to modern headless architectures
• Debug and optimize data flows between frontend applications and backend systems

Backend Development & Integrations
• Develop and maintain Python/Django applications and services
• Build and support API integrations between e-commerce platforms and internal business systems
• Create custom middleware and automation tools to support business requirements
• Enhance and maintain existing backend systems while preserving stability
• Design and improve data exchange processes and application workflows

Infrastructure & Deployment

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines

• Configure deployment environments and release processes
  • Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, and deployment issues
  • Support production operations and system reliability

Technical Problem Solving
• Evaluate business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Assess project complexity and recommend appropriate implementation approaches
• Communicate technical constraints and tradeoffs clearly to stakeholders
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical team members to deliver solutions

📌Required Qualifications
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React
• Experience with Shopify and headless commerce architectures
• Strong Python development skills and experience with Django

• Experience working with GraphQL APIs

• Experience building and maintaining API integrations• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practices
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively

📌Preferred Qualifications
• Experience migrating legacy e-commerce platforms to headless architectures
• Experience with large product catalogs and performance optimization
• Familiarity with search platforms such as Algolia

• Experience with headless CMS platforms

• Experience working in custom e-commerce environments where significant platform customization was required
