Senior iOS Engineers (SwiftUI & Combine) - Octopus by RTG

You will be working with an Egypt-based grocery delivery startup, founded in 2017, rapidly grew from a local bakery service to a full-scale platform offering thousands of daily essentials delivered in under an hour. Backed by over $33M in funding, it operates across major Egyptian cities and is expanding regionally with a strong tech-driven supply chain.

• Design and develop advanced iOS applications using SwiftUI and Combine
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver new features and improve existing functionality
• Write maintainable and testable code, and participate in code reviews to uphold quality standards
• Architect scalable and modular mobile solutions using modern iOS best practices
• Optimize app performance and ensure high responsiveness and stability
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the team
• Stay updated with the latest iOS trends, tools, and frameworks
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional iOS development experience
• Strong proficiency in Swift, with hands-on experience in SwiftUI and Combine
• Solid understanding of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and iOS design principles
• Experience with MVVM or other modern iOS architectures
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and networking frameworks
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaboration tools (GitHub, GitLab, etc.)
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance tuning skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
