Who We AreRo is a direct-to-patient healthcare company with a mission of helping as many patients as possible achieve their health goals. Ro is the only company to offer telehealth care, at-home diagnostic testing, labs, and pharmacy services nationwide. This is enabled by Ro's vertically integrated platform that helps patients achieve their goals through a convenient end-to-end healthcare experience spanning from diagnosis, to delivery of medication, to ongoing care. Since 2017, Ro has helped millions of patients in nearly every single county in the United States, including 98% of primary care deserts.
Ro was recognized as a CNBC Disruptor 50 in 2022, listed by Inc. Magazine as a Best Place to Work in 2022 for our third consecutive year, and named one of FORTUNE's 2022 Best Medium Workplaces.
This role will be part of our Care Delivery team reporting to our Director, Care Delivery and will work closely with our Senior Medical Director and Senior Director of Nursing, along with our network of over 100 practitioners. The ideal candidate is an expert tactical executor with experience in implementing workflow changes for clinical providers. You’ll work closely with cross functional teams including Ro’s medical practice leadership, Data, and Product teams to ensure our clinical network is equipped to grow in a way that is sensitive to the needs of our providers, our patients, and the business needs of the organization. You are curious, proactive and care more about getting it right than being right.

What You'll Do

  • In partnership with our Clinical Leadership team, develop the strategy and execute initiatives for scaling and future-proofing our practitioner network
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to design, and develop robust, scalable workflows, and partner with cross-functional partners on their execution
  • Own onboarding for new providers, including onboarding calendar, policies, and ramp-up timeline. You will work closely with practice leadership to help monitor new hire performance and productivity goals
  • Proactively identify areas of opportunity to improve protocols and procedures around onboarding, staffing, incentive structures, and workflow adherence through deep-dive projects, reporting, and direct feedback from our network of clinicians
  • Create and deliver memos and presentations with key insights and recommendations on provider work allocation, hiring, and incentives
  • Support performance management and develop, maintain, and execute incentive programs for our network of practitioners
  • You'll leverage operation data to translate conceptual questions into information for stakeholder decision-making

What You'll Bring to the Team

  • 5-7+ years of high-performance experience in operations, management consulting, EMR implementation, or similar roles. You have an in-depth understanding of healthcare and the provider experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication and presentation skills. You have experience presenting to senior, cross-functional stakeholders, and the ability to tailor written and verbal communication to a specific audience
  • You’re comfortable diving deep into the data to get to the root of an issue or inefficiency - you know your way around a spreadsheet and can independently build analyses and work with Data team partners to support your recommendations
  • You can easily move between big picture thinking and tactical execution
  • You have a passion for building the future of healthcare, where patients are in control
  • You’re excited to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adjust to evolving priorities.

We've Got You Covered

  • Full medical, dental, and vision insurance + OneMedical membership
  • Healthcare and Dependent Care FSA401(k) with company match
  • Flexible PTO
  • Wellbeing + Learning & Growth reimbursements
  • Paid parental leave + Fertility benefits
  • Pet insurance
  • Student loan refinancing
  • Virtual resources for mindfulness, counseling, and fitness

  • We welcome qualified candidates of all races, creeds, genders, and sexuality to apply.
The target salary for this position ranges from $144,900 to $171,000, in addition to a competitive equity and benefits package (as applicable). When determining compensation, we analyze and carefully consider several factors, including location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. For too long, patients have been asked to blindly trust the healthcare system. No more.

At Ro, we want to bring transparency to healthcare at every step of the patient journey, from the cost of their treatment to where their medication is sourced. Ro provides information to help patients make informed, important decisions about their healthcare and their lives, and to put patients back in control of their health.

Patients deserve care with no surprises
They deserve to see every price before they pay. They deserve to see the risks and benefits of every treatment option. They deserve to know where their drugs are sourced. They deserve to know everything we know. That is Ro's promise.

Accurate and unbiased health information for our patients

VIPER is an internal process created by Ro that is designed to understand how law, medicine, and advertising intersect. The purpose of VIPER is to facilitate patient safety and trust in Ro by ensuring that the information we present to our patients and the public is truthful, non-misleading, and includes all of the information that we believe is important for a patient's treatment plan.

Patients deserve to see under the hood
Technology is essential to Ro's ability to provide access to affordable high-quality care. Patients deserve to know how Ro's technology works inside and out.

Helping patients in minutes from diagnosis to delivery
The future of healthcare is one in which providers are not replaced but empowered by technology, unburdened from administrative paperwork, and liberated to practice medicine in concert with their patients where and when they need it most. Ro is striving to make this a reality every single day.

Making it easy to cancel treatment

At Ro, we always put patients first. We send an email before every single shipment to make sure the patient still wants or needs their treatment (not after it's been shipped). And we built an amazing cancel flow. That's right, Ro has the easiest way to delay or cancel a shipment in healthcare.
