We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team who is highly skilled in project management and will be responsible for supporting one of our largest client contracts on the delivery team as well as new program contracts across the east coast. All project work will be completed in accordance with the established marketing plans.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with marketing managers to coordinate the production of marketing materials, monitor status of deliverables and ensure creative team meets scope requirements.
- Ensure that agreed upon processes are followed by all stakeholders.
- Responsible for proofreading all materials to ensure accuracy.
- Will act as the conduit between the cross functional teams and/or clients directly at times to intake and route projects for approvals.
- Responsible for continuously updating project management system daily to ensure projects stay on task.
- Can assess roadblocks and quickly come up with solutions to overcome obstacles.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience working on a marketing team or in a project management setting.
- Experience with Wrike and Smartsheet or similar project management software.
- Comfortable working on a team that is mostly remote.
- Can work independently with minimal supervision.
- Very organized, positive and does what it takes to get the work done.
- Can quickly assess what is needed to complete tasks effectively and efficiently.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in sustainability and passionate about making a meaningful impact on the environment.
Preferred skills, education and experience
- Experience working in Campaign Monitor, WordPress and other online platforms.
- Has worked for an advertising agency or internal creative team.
- Has worked with graphic designers and understands the basics of the creative process.
- Has worked for a utility or in the energy industry.
