Head of Core Technologies

Renmoney is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Head of Core Technologies to lead our core technology strategy and execution. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our core technology systems are efficient, secure, and aligned with the overall business objectives. You will oversee the development and management of internal systems to support our financial products and services effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a technology strategy that aligns with Renmoney's business goals and enhances core technology capabilities.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of core banking systems and related technologies.
• Manage a team of technology professionals, providing leadership, direction, and mentorship to drive high performance.
• Implement robust security measures to protect the integrity and confidentiality of core technology systems.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of technology with business processes and user needs.
• Monitor and analyze system performance metrics and implement improvements as necessary to optimize efficiency.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to inform innovation and strategic planning.
• Prepare and manage budgets for core technology projects, ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
• Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on technology initiatives, challenges, and project outcomes.
• Establish and maintain vendor relationships to ensure the procurement of technology solutions and services that meet organizational needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in technology management, with a focus on core banking systems and related technologies.
• Strong leadership experience, with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team.
• Proven track record of successful project management and implementation of technology solutions in a financial services environment.
• In-depth knowledge of core banking technologies, payment systems, and related regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Experience in managing budgets and vendor relationships.
