Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and file individual (Form 1040) tax returns using ProSeries.
- Review client financial documents (W-2s, 1099s, 1098s, K-1s, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations.
- Identify eligible deductions and credits to maximize client returns.
- Verify accuracy of completed returns prior to submission.
- Communicate professionally with clients to obtain missing information and clarify details
Requirements
- Prior hands-on experience preparing personal tax returns in ProSeries.
- Strong understanding of federal and state tax codes.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and efficient.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple returns.
- High level of responsibility and confidentiality when handling financial data.
