Description

  • This is a client-facing position focused on providing business analytic, and program management support for internal (TSA/ESVP) stakeholders for VPB operations.
  • The team member will:
    • Develop, manage, and track program documentation and plans to meet goal deadlines
    • Ability to work with stakeholders to gather, understand, and define business requirements
    • Plan, evaluate, organize, and lead project activities to support vetting and testing of airports and aircraft operators
    • Work closely with users, stakeholders, and TSA managers to streamline processes, improve access to information
    • Conduct or facilitate meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings
  • Assist the government with maintaining, updating, and preparation of reports, project plans, document management and other analytical tools for management reporting and decision-making processes
  • Mentor and guide other team members with training material, transition in/out, and creation of content for projects.
  • Develop and maintain program documentation and correspondence
  • Manage and update trackers that are referenced for aircraft/airport operator onboarding to vetting solutions, including Privacy Information Briefings, Testing Sessions, uploads of Master Personnel Lists, and other associated tasks as assigned
  • Working with TSA Managers and Stakeholders to gather information, analyze and understand the business needs and define business requirements
  • Facilitating and documenting meetings and tracking action items
  • Multitasking to ensure vast range of deliverables meet expected timeline

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in project management or project support
  • Bachelors Degree in Business or related field
  • Advanced Skills using full suite of MS Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint
  • Strong writing abilities, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Prior work experience within DHS and/or TSA highly preferred
  • Experience working in a government contracting environment, or consulting field
  • Willing to work at TSA AJOC (Annapolis Junction, MD) and Headquarters (Springfield, VA) office as requested
  • Must be able to pass TSA Public Trust Clearance

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000 to $110,000. Actual compensation will depend on a range of factors, including but not limited to the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, certifications, location, other business and organizational needs, and applicable employment laws. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
