Reapra was founded about a decade ago with a mission to co-create industries for the betterment of society through research and practice. This is a long journey. Shaping a new form of entrepreneurship

At Reapra, we are trying to influence societal change by shaping new forms of entrepreneurship. We believe it is important for societal change to be co-created with society rather than in isolation from it, and that such change needs to consider the next generation and beyond. And we see new forms of entrepreneurship and industries as having an important role in influencing present-day society. Unlike conventional methods that prioritise ideas first, our approach focuses on cultivating individuals—future founders who aim to tackle systemic challenges and create meaningful societal impact. To date, Reapra has invested in more than 80 companies across Asia Pacific in various industries, including agriculture, aviation, education, healthcare, hospitality, travel and now, we are looking to co-build in the Accounting field in Asia Pacific.

Opportunity to solve long term problems in the Accounting field

The accounting field in the Asia Pacific region is poised to face significant structural challenges over the next 20 years, driven by a complex interplay of demographic, technological, and regulatory factors. While the industry is abuzz with discussions about AI's disruption, we believe there are deeper more pressing, structural issues that warrant attention. These unaddressed problems, such as the talent retention crisis, more exposure to corporate fraud, the increasing complexity of regulatory frameworks, and the disconnect between financial reporting and business reality, pose significant challenges for the whole system. Addressing these underlying issues, in addition to adapting to technological changes, may be crucial to the long-term potential of the industry.

• You have deep motivation to create a business in Accounting field, and can imagine yourself building this business for the next 20 years. Yet, you are not sure where and how to start. We only invest in pre-idea stage.

• You have a sense of your WHY.... You are excited about discovering your intrinsic motivation through deep reflection and sharing of your life story.
• You believe in building a profitable business with solid fundamentals from Day 1.
• You are familiar with system change as influencing social change in the business system.

Our Process

Instead of starting with an idea, we focus on understanding entrepreneurs and their motivation to drive lasting change. Our approach centers on the Intensive Foundation Design (IFD) program, which helps individuals discover their unique strengths, values, and passions to build businesses that tackle systemic challenges for future generations. Through IFD, potential founders gain insights into their past, present, and future, shaping their mastery theme and vision for entrepreneurial endeavors that address systemic challenges and reshape industries. This process informs Reapra's investment decisions and approval process.
