About the role
The Application Specialist will be responsible for accurately and efficiently filling out forms from USCIS (United States Citizenship and Immigration Services) for various immigration cases, including VAWA, T-Visa, U-Visa, Medical DA, and Asylum. Background in legal assistance, immigration law, and USCIS form filing will be instrumental in ensuring the successful completion of immigration applications.
100% Remote job
Schedule Tuesday to Friday: 2:00pm to 11:00pm EST, and Saturday: 10:00am to 7:00pm EST.
Payrate $7.25/hr . 40 hours per week
What you'll do
- Review and confirm the accuracy of the documentation and information provided by clients for immigration applications, including VAWA, T-Visa, U-Visa, Medical DA, and Asylum.
- Fill out USCIS forms accurately and completely, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Conduct a detailed review and analysis of data and documents we have already in place to support the preparation of immigration applications.
- Contact the client to gather any additional information and address any issues or concerns related to the application process.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Qualifications
- Background in legal assistance or immigration law
- Knowledge of USCIS forms and their proper completion for various immigration cases, including VAWA, T-Visa, U-Visa, Medical DA, and Asylum, is a plus.
- Experience working with government forms or similar documentation processes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately review and confirm the accuracy of client-provided documentation. Research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently, while also being a collaborative team player. Adherence to strict confidentiality and ethical standards in handling sensitive client information.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bilingual (Spanish English) C1.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Legal background required, Attorney, Paralegal, etc.
