Job Responsibilities:
Business Development & Growth Strategy:
- Develop and execute a scalable business development strategy for AI-based products and services.
- Identify and evaluate strategic partnerships, alliances, and acquisition opportunities.
- Lead deal structuring, negotiations, and relationship management with key partners and enterprise clients.
Partnership Development:
- Build and manage strategic alliances with key stakeholders, including technology partners, enterprise clients, research institutions, and government agencies.
- Lead negotiations for partnerships, joint ventures, and licensing agreements to accelerate growth and innovation.
- Cultivate relationships with C-suite executives and decision-makers across industries.
AI Solutions & Client Innovation:
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and data science teams to shape compelling AI solutions tailored to client needs.
- Translate customer pain points into high-impact, scalable AI offerings.
- Act as a key advisor to clients on the application and business impact of AI technologies (e.g., machine learning, natural language processing, generative AI).
Go-to-Market & Sales Enablement:
- Support sales teams with executive-level client engagements, proposals, and thought leadership.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying and capitalizing on high-value opportunities in global markets.
- Oversee the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for AI products and services.
- Monitor sales pipeline and ensure consistent achievement of revenue and profitability targets.
Team Management:
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing global business development team.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and results-oriented performance.
- Establish clear performance metrics and accountability frameworks for the team.
Industry Leadership and Advocacy:
- Represent the company at industry conferences, events, and forums to establish thought leadership in AI.
- Advocate for the adoption of ethical AI practices and promote the organization’s contributions to the AI ecosystem.
- Stay abreast of regulatory developments and compliance requirements in the AI industry.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required for the job:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years in business development, strategic partnerships, or enterprise solutions, with at least 3+ years in AI, SaaS, or advanced technology fields.
- Proven track record of driving significant revenue growth and managing complex global partnerships.
- Deep understanding of AI technologies, trends, and applications across industries.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to navigate complex, matrixed organizations and manage cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen to assess market opportunities and ROI.
- Experience working in startups, Fortune 500 companies, or high-growth technology firms.
- Familiarity with global markets, cultural nuances, and international business practices.
