Role: Data Analyst

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced data analysis and manage large scale data systems to support business decision-making.
- Lead data management initiatives across diverse (Re)insurance segments including US P&C, International Markets, and Life, Accident & Health.
- Design, develop, and maintain data models, ETL workflows, and data processing pipelines using SSIS, Python, Databricks, and related technologies.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and insights using Power BI, SQL, Spark, and other BI tools.
- Ensure high-quality documentation for data analysis, data management, and reporting pr cesses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to drive data-driven solutions and improvements.
- Provide technical leadership within the data team, fostering collaboration and guiding junior team members.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, managing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Influence stakeholders and contribute effectively to strategic initiatives across the organization.
- Support multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and deadlines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in data analysis and data management.
- 4+ years of experience in the (Re)insurance domain across US P&C, International Markets, and Life, Accident & Health.
- Strong expertise with business intelligence and query tools: Power BI, SQL, Spark.
- Solid understanding of data modelling and data processing frameworks such as SSIS, Python, and Databricks.
- Excellent documentation skills in data management and reporting.
- Strong organizational, written, verbal, and presentation capabilities.
- Exceptional analytical and critical-thinking skills, particularly around data management.
- Proven ability to work independently with limited oversight.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to drive solutions and foster teamwork.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, adapt to change, and prioritize effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across global teams and all organizational levels.
- Motivated, team-oriented, with strong problem-solving and project management skills.
