Pulmovant

We are Pulmovant, a clinical-stage biotechnology company that is singularly focused on transforming the treatment paradigm for patients with pulmonary diseases. Our first investigational product, mosliciguat, is a potential first-in-class soluble guanylate cyclase (sGC) activator designed to provide an effective, once-daily, inhaled treatment option for patients with pulmonary hypertension associated with interstitial lung disease (PH-ILD). PH-ILD is a progressive and life-threatening condition with significant unmet medical need, and we're committed to delivering new hope for patients with these unique needs.

Our work is grounded in deep scientific understanding of the nitric oxide (NO)/cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) signaling pathway. Mosliciguat targets sGC, a key enzyme that catalyzes cGMP production, leading to increased vasodilation, reduced inflammation and apoptosis, reverse vascular remodeling, and anti-fibrotic effects. Unlike traditional sGC stimulators that require reduced heme and NO to function, our candidate is an sGC activator that works independently of these cofactors, potentially offering enhanced therapeutic benefits.

As part of the Roivant family of companies, we leverage powerful collaboration and innovation to accelerate our mission. Our Phase 2 PHocus clinical trial is evaluating the safety and efficacy of mosliciguat in adults with PH-ILD, and we've already received orphan drug designation in Japan for this potential treatment. We're driven by the belief that patients with pulmonary diseases deserve better options, and we're working every day to make that a reality.
