The Sr. Cash Application Specialist is responsible for accurately and timely posting of all third-party and patient payments. This position maintains consistent productivity and quality of work in a challenging, fast paced and rapidly changing environment. This position resolves complex payment posting and WQ escalations from internal and external customers, resolves unknown cash allocations in the Providence Cash Management tool (PCM), researches and resolves deposit (DPR) errors in the EPIC Cash Management (ECM) tool, as well as resolution of items in the EPIC clearing accounts. This position will assist the lead with training needs for the team as well as support team members with posting questions and work assignments.

Required Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree or equivalent educ/experience
- 3 years of Technical role in healthcare, revenue cycle or finance.
- Track record in organizing and planning with demonstrated ability to effectively manage time and achieve results in a fast paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year of demonstrated knowledge and understanding of GL mapping.
- 1 year of experience in accounting.
