Senior Software Developer

Senior Software Developer needed to work remotely alongside a team based in Auckland, New Zealand. The role involves crafting interesting systems, collaborating with stakeholders, and contributing to the evolution of our code base from C# to Rust.

Requirements

• 7+ years experience as a Software Developer, including experience working with enterprise-level complexity.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and at least one modern web application framework, preferably React.
• Experience in C# and up-to-date.NET frameworks to the extent you can maintain some existing code.
• Hands-on experience deploying to Azure and/or AWS, including participation in building CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code using tools such as Terraform.
• Experience with asynchronous services and/or stream processing.
• Experience with Kubernetes and container-based deployments.
• Some experience with Rust is desirable.
• Previous experience with Go or C++, is a bonus.
• Experience using techniques such as user stories to express the work to be done as business outcomes.
• Ability to produce clear and concise design documents.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to translate between requirements and technical tasks.
• Remote candidates: Ability to demonstrate a reliable work setup, including a high-quality camera, and stable high-speed internet connection, to ensure consistent and quality involvement in virtual meetings.
