Prominence is seeking a data architect with strong experience in SQL to help build and deploy analytics solutions in partnership with some of the nation’s leading healthcare providers. The ideal candidate has deep familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and/or cloud technologies such as Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks, Apache Spark, or similar tools.

Your Role

Our consultants guide our customers through complex technology requirements to summit the challenge at hand. You will need to be able to create order out of chaos, and compile ambiguous information into tactical action plans.

Requirements

Essential Functions

  • Work with raw data to transform it into meaningful, actionable information.
  • Design data models that scale in size and complexity.
  • Develop and deploy analytics solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Guide customers through complex, new or unfamiliar technology requirements and compile ambiguous information into actionable plans.
  • Write, debug, and optimize SQL queries.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Strong experience in reading and writing SQL. Ability to write, debug and tune SQL queries.
  • Deep knowledge of relational data modeling. Ability to think at an architectural level in creating, growing, maintaining, and documenting scalable data models.
  • Experience with one or more of the following technologies:
    • Microsoft SQL Server
    • Databricks
    • Snowflake
    • Microsoft Fabric
    • Azure Synapse
    • AWS Redshift
    • Similar cloud or big data platforms

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare industry knowledge and experience.
  • Experience in C#, Python, or general programming.
  • Familiarity with SQL Server hardware and software configuration best practices.
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based services (AWS, Azure).

Physical and Medical Standards

  • Must be able to sit or stand at a computer and work independently.

Working Conditions and Environment

  • Must be able to work remotely and independently from a personal home office.
  • Willingness to travel for onsite meetings and business reviews as needed.
  • Remote-first; must be based in the U.S.

Hours Worked

  • This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position.
