Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team. As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test plans, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in our QA processes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure high-quality software releases.

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and define test objectives.

• Plan and perform functional, regression, and performance testing to identify defects and ensure the software meets the specified requirements.

• Design and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts to improve efficiency and coverage.

• Conduct root cause analysis of defects and work closely with SRE and development team to resolve issues.

• Collaborate with other QA teams to improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies.

• Mentor and provide guidance to junior QA engineers, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing.

• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software testing.

Job Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience in creating automated tests

• Knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, Tosca, Robot Framework, Cypress).

• Proven experience as a QA engineer, with at least 3 years of experience in software testing.

• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

• Proficiency in test case design, test execution, and defect tracking.

• Familiarity with any cloud provider (GCP, AWS)

• Proficient in Python and JavaScript for developing test automation scripts and frameworks.

• Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools (e.g., Github Actions, Jenkins).

• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker

• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and code review processes.

• Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS) and web application testing.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software products.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus.
