The Role:
As a Strategic Customer Success Manager at Prepared, your role is central to empowering public safety improvements through our advanced solutions. You will forge strong partnerships with our most valued clients, guiding them from the moment of sale through to onboarding, training, and beyond. Your commitment extends to fostering their success, ensuring our technology not only meets but exceeds their expectations. This role is about more than service; it's about being a dedicated advocate for the clients within our teams, driving innovation, and championing the critical mission of enhancing public safety through technology.
Own the post-sale experience for our highest-value, strategic accounts, guiding them through onboarding, training, expansion, and renewal processes.
Proactively monitor customer health, intervene with strategic plans, and celebrate milestones.
Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with stakeholders to highlight Prepared 's value and identify growth opportunities.
Drive product adoption and usage through targeted educational initiatives.
Act as a customer advocate within internal teams.
Identify expansion opportunities and collaborate with the sales team to increase contract values.
Develop deep customer relationships, gather product feedback, and generate referrals.
About You:
Strong background in the Public Safety sector; 911 experience highly preferred.
Minimum of 5 years in a senior or strategic role within Customer Success or Account Management.
Proven experience in managing renewals and expansions, especially for accounts with annual values around $1M.
High emotional intelligence (EQ) and the ability to build loyal customer relationships.
Exceptional ability to anticipate customer needs and communicate these to internal teams.
Self-motivation and discipline with a goal-driven approach.
Comfort with startup pace and ambiguity, capable of navigating frequent changes.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
A self-starter with quick learning ability and minimal need for supervision.

Experience in an early-stage startup (Seed, Series A/B).
Pay Transparency:
The base compensation for this role is approximately $120,000 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, company equity grants, participation in Prepared’s unlimited vacation program and free membership to One Medical.
