Über die Rolle

Platform Science sucht einen Sales Manager (m/w/d), um Logistikunternehmen in der DACH-Region bei ihrer digitalen Transformation zu unterstützen. In dieser Funktion hören Sie unseren Kunden zu, identifizieren deren Anforderungen und helfen ihnen, die Lücke zwischen manuellen Transportprozessen und der digitalen Welt zu schließen. Sie sind verantwortlich für die Bedarfsanalyse, die Erstellung maßgeschneiderter Angebote und die Begleitung der Unternehmen durch den gesamten Verkaufsprozess, um Transparenz und Automatisierung zu optimieren. Dies ist eine Remote-Position mit Sitz in Deutschland.

Wesentliche Aufgaben

  • Beziehungsmanagement: Verwaltung und Ausbau bestehender sowie neuer Geschäftsbeziehungen innerhalb eines definierten Kundenstamms in der DACH-Region.

  • Umsatzwachstum: Sicherung bestehender Umsätze und Förderung des Wachstums durch strategische Cross-Selling- und Upselling-Aktivitäten.

  • Pipeline-Management: Aktive Steuerung und Erweiterung Ihrer Sales-Pipeline sowie Pflege präziser Fortschrittsberichte im CRM-System.

  • Kundenreaktionsfähigkeit: Entgegennahme und Beantwortung von Anfragen von Interessenten und Kunden, um deren spezifische Bedürfnisse mit hochwertigen Lösungen zu erfüllen.

  • Team-Zusammenarbeit: Enge Zusammenarbeit mit internen Teams, um die bestmöglichen Lösungen für Ihre Kunden zu entwerfen.

Erfahrung

Anforderungen

  • Berufserfahrung: Mindestens 3 Jahre Erfahrung im Vertrieb (Sales).

  • Branchenkenntnisse: Fundierter Hintergrund in der Logistikbranche.

  • Expertise: Nachgewiesene Erfahrung im Verkauf von Logistik- und/oder SaaS-Lösungen an Großunternehmen.

  • Erfolgsbilanz: Nachweisbare Erfolge bei der Übererfüllung von Quoten und positives Kundenfeedback.

  • Sprachkenntnisse: Fließendes Deutsch (C1/C2) sowie verhandlungssicheres Englisch sind zwingend erforderlich.

  • Ausbildung: Bachelor-Abschluss oder ein vergleichbares höheres Bildungsniveau.

About the Role

Platform Science is seeking a Sales Manager (m/w/d) to support logistics companies in their digital transformation journey across the DACH region. In this role, you will listen to our customers, identify their requirements, and support them in bridging the gap between manual transport processes and digital worlds. You will be responsible for identifying needs, creating tailor-made offers, and guiding companies through the entire sales process to optimize transparency and automation. This is a remote position based in Germany.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Relationship Management: Manage and expand existing and new business relationships within a defined customer base in the DACH region.

  • Revenue Growth: Secure existing sales and drive growth through strategic cross-selling and upselling activities.

  • Pipeline Management: Actively manage and expand your sales pipeline while maintaining accurate progress reports in the CRM system.

  • Customer Responsiveness: Receive and respond to inquiries from interested parties and customers, ensuring their specific needs are met with high-quality solutions.

  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with internal teams to architect the best possible solutions for your clients.

Experience

Required Experience

  • 3+ years of professional experience in sales.

  • Solid background in the logistics industry.

  • Proven experience selling logistics and/or SaaS solutions to large corporations.

  • A successful track record of exceeding quotas and receiving positive customer feedback.

  • Language Requirements: Proficiency in German (C1/C2) and fluency in English are mandatory.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher educational level.
