Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that supports the independently incorporated Planned Parenthood affiliates operating health centers across the U.S. Planned Parenthood Action Fund is an independent, nonpartisan, not-for-profit membership organization formed as the advocacy and political arm of Planned Parenthood Federation of America. The Action Fund engages in educational, advocacy, and electoral activity, including grassroots organizing, legislative advocacy, and voter education.
Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) and Planned Parenthood Action Fund seek a Digital Electoral Campaigns Manager. This job reports to the Digital Campaigns Director in the Direct Response department, on the Digital Fundraising and Supporter Engagement (DFSE) team. The Digital Fundraising and Supporter Engagement team provides information, education, resources, and ways to get involved in service of engaging and growing a diverse base of supporters.
This role is an Election Cycle position to support Planned Parenthood Action Fund and Planned Parenthood Votes and is projected to end January 2025. This role will also provide general support to PPFA.
Purpose: ⦁ Provide advocacy/issue digital campaign planning and tactical support for national and local Planned Parenthood advocacy and political organizations to advance an electoral agenda in state and federal elections.
⦁ Assist with developing and implementing digital strategies to advance proactive reproductive health policies, defend against assaults on reproductive health and rights, and identify, educate, recruit and mobilize supporters, activists and volunteers.
Delivery: ⦁ Work with Action Fund, PP Votes staff, vendors, and state election teams to oversee development, execution and reporting of paid digital plans, in service of electoral goals
⦁ Work with the DFSE and Action Fund and PP Votes teams to help execute on the national digital campaign work that supports our overall electoral (and supporter engagement) goals, including but not limited to: ⦁ Drafting, vetting, and publishing web, social media, email, and SMS content for Action Fund and PP Votes⦁ Overseeing the partnership, development and publishing of a PP Advocacy and Political Organizations’ Voter Guide.
⦁ Develop, manage, and execute various strategies for engaging with and mobilizing Planned Parenthood supporters over all digital channels.
Engagement:⦁ Work collaboratively with Digital Campaigns Director, Regional Campaign Directors and local staff to set national and electoral digital campaign strategies and tactics that support overall goals to be executed by national and local staff.
⦁ Provide strategic guidance and technical support to local Planned Parenthood advocacy and political organizations to advance 2024 electoral campaign goals. This includes developing and implementing statewide digital strategies to advance 2024 electoral campaign goals, with a particular emphasis on identifying, educating, recruiting and mobilizing supporters, activists and volunteers.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs): ⦁ 3-5 years of substantial digital & social media experience with political, advocacy, and/or nonprofit organizations.
⦁ Experience developing and implementing online content and strategy for political or legislative campaigns, non-profit advocacy organizations, or national organizing campaigns.
⦁ Experience working on paid advertising campaigns.
⦁ Experience working with Content Management Systems and digital CRMs.
⦁ Experience developing long-term and short-term digital campaign plans.
⦁ Excellent communication (written & verbal) skills.
⦁ Proven track record of meeting deadlines and deliverables with quick turnarounds.
⦁ Thrives in a campaign-style environment with "rapid fire" deadlines and responses.

Roles that are denoted as NYC, DC, or both will work a hybrid schedule, requiring 2-3 days per week in the office unless the role is denoted as onsite, which requires working onsite full time or 5 days per week.
