About the role.
As a result of our incredible success and growth, we are looking for a Financial Controller to join us.
Responsibilities include
- Play a key role in building a best in class finance function by strengthening processes, systems, and ways of working.
- Own the quality, accuracy, and integrity of accounting data, ensuring strong audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
- Drive confidence in financial systems and reporting for the CFO and senior leadership team.
- Oversee and document day-to-day operational finance processes, including invoicing, collections, payables, and payroll.
- Lead efficient weekly and monthly reporting, including a robust month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Ensure timely completion of tax, statutory, and financial reporting requirements.
Requirements
- Newly qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA), with 3+ years audit experience.
- Hands-on experience using Sage Intacct.
- Strong understanding of the Financial Controller role and accountability across core finance operations and reporting.
- Confident relationship-builder with the ability to partner beyond Finance and influence a range of stakeholders.
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid knowledge of statutory reporting requirements for legal entities with experience of taking end to end ownership.
