About PCC

Packt Client Content (PCC) creates learning products and books for tech companies to meet their marketing and knowledge goals. Our clients include Microsoft, Red Hat, Oracle, Elastic Search, etc. We create customized products for clients and customers. Clients use PCC products primarily for lead generation and customer acquisition. Our products include e-books, customized or bespoke content, mini-eBooks, whitepapers, blogs, infographics, short guides, etc. We also grant licensing and translation rights for Packt Books. Tech companies prefer PCC’s up-to-date content to stay competitive and relevant in a fast-changing landscape.

Role Overview

Packt is looking for an Account Manager who's as passionate about tech as we are. Your job? To help us stay on the cutting edge, drive sales, and forge lasting relationships with clients. Key Responsibilities
  • Client Growth and Engagement: Get to know our clients like the back of your hand. Understand what they need and find new ways to help their accounts grow. We’re all about showing the real value of our tech-focused solutions, not just talking about them.
  • Relationship Building: Create genuine, lasting connections with key clients and partners. Our goal is to be a trusted ally in their tech journey.
  • Lead Hunting: Use your creativity to find and engage potential new clients. We love data and want you to use it to make smart, informed decisions.
  • Pitch Crafting: Put together pitches that clearly show why our products and services are the best. Think like a product manager and focus on creating something our clients will love.
  • Sales Innovation: Embrace the latest sales tools to keep us ahead of the curve. We're all about finding new, better ways to work.
  • Taking Initiative: Dive into new business opportunities. We value people who take ownership and show hustle.
  • Sales Presentations: Convey our value in a way that speaks directly to client needs. It’s all about finding the right solution for every problem.
  • CRM Expertise: Lead the charge in managing our CRM system. Write it down, keep it updated, and make sure we’re all on the same page.

Qualifications

  • Proven Sales or Account Management Experience: Share examples of how you've grown client accounts or penetrated new markets. We're interested in hearing about specific strategies you've implemented and the results they achieved.
  • Strong Relationship-Building Track Record: Provide instances where your ability to build and maintain client relationships led to sustained business growth or improved client retention. Highlight any feedback or testimonials from clients or partners.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Tell us about a time when you used data to drive sales strategy or improve client engagement. Examples could include analytics-driven sales campaigns, customer segmentation strategies, or how you've used data to tailor pitches.
  • Adaptability and Innovation in Sales: Describe situations where you've had to adapt to changing market conditions or client needs and how you innovated to overcome challenges. Include any new tools or technologies you've adopted to enhance sales processes.
  • Independent Work Management: Provide examples of how you've effectively managed your workload with minimal supervision, including setting goals, prioritizing tasks, and achieving results. Highlight how your approach to autonomy and accountability has driven success.
  • CRM Mastery: Offer evidence of your expertise in using CRM systems to enhance client relationships and sales outcomes. Examples could include how you've optimized CRM data for targeted campaigns, improved data accuracy, or customized the system to meet unique business needs.
