Full Stack App Developer (iOS & Android)

Work From Home | Full-Time | AU Client

About the Role

Were looking for a Full Stack App Developer to join our lean start-up team and build our mobile application from the ground up. Working closely with our UX/UI App Designer, you will play a critical role in turning concepts into a fully functional iOS application, with the opportunity to expand into Android development.

This is a hands-on role that demands both technical expertise and a start-up mindset - adaptability, problem-solving, and ownership of your craft.

Its an exciting opportunity to shape the technical foundation of a new product, collaborate with a small and passionate team, and directly influence the future of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build the iOS application from scratch, ensuring scalability, performance, and best-in-class user experience.

  • Collaborate closely with the UX/UI App Designer to bring wireframes, prototypes, and design systems to life.

  • Contribute to product ideation, technical planning, and roadmap discussions within the lean team.

  • Develop APIs, integrate with third-party services, and manage end-to-end mobile app architecture.

  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with strong attention to detail.

  • Ensure seamless handoff between front-end and back-end components.

  • Stay up to date with mobile development trends, tools, and frameworks to ensure a modern, competitive product.

  • Bonus: Build and maintain the Android version of the app for cross-platform rollout.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Mobile App Developer, ideally in a start-up or fast-paced environment.

  • Strong proficiency in iOS development (Swift, SwiftUI, Xcode).

  • Experience with front-end and back-end integration (APIs, RESTful services, cloud backends).

  • Knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL) and mobile architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, MVP).

  • Familiarity with version control (Git) and Agile methodologies.

  • High attention to detail and commitment to writing scalable, maintainable code.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a small, multi-disciplinary team.

  • Bonus: Android development experience (Java/Kotlin).
