Senior System Administrator
6 MONTH CONTRACT
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior System Administrator to manage, support, and optimize enterprise IT environments with a strong focus on Microsoft cloud and identity technologies.
The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strong operational stability, and excellent communication skills to support enterprise-scale infrastructure and end-user environments.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end administration and management of Microsoft Intune (configuration, deployment, policy management, application packaging, and device lifecycle management)
- Administration and support of Active Directory (AD) environments including user, group, and policy management
- Manage endpoint security, compliance policies, and device governance across hybrid environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system, identity, and endpoint issues
- Implement and maintain security baselines and device configuration standards
- Support identity and access management processes across enterprise systems
- Collaborate with internal IT teams and stakeholders to ensure system reliability and performance
- Monitor systems proactively to ensure uptime, stability, and compliance
- Document technical processes, configurations, and operational procedures
- Participate in escalation support and incident resolution for critical infrastructure issues
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years' experience in Systems Administration or similar infrastructure-focused roles
- Exceptional hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune (end-to-end administration is essential)
- Strong experience in Active Directory administration and management
- Solid understanding of Microsoft ecosystem including endpoint management and identity services
- Experience with hybrid environments (on-prem and cloud integration)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities across enterprise systems
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed team environment
