One CoreDev IT is seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Senior Finance and Accounting professional to join our team. As a Senior Finance and Accounting staff, you will play a key role in managing financial strategies, budgets, and overseeing financial planning and analysis for our organization. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial management, and excellent leadership and analytical skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage all customer invoicing and accounts receivable aspects, ensuring timely and accurate billing processes
- Handle vendor payments and maintain a robust accounts payable system to meet financial obligations promptly.
- Conduct comprehensive financial reporting, including preparing financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Oversee general ledger, cost accounting, and collections, maintaining meticulous records and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions.
- Prepare journal entries to support month-end close activities and perform regular account reconciliations to verify financial data.
- Provide detailed financial analyses as requested to support management decisions.
- Ensure strict compliance with all financial policies and regulatory requirements, safeguarding the company's operations and reputation.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in finance or accounting roles, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of financial processes.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
- Proven experience in managing billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger functions.
- Deep knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks, NetSuite, as well as Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace.
- Exceptional analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for detailed analysis and strategic thinking.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong experience with financial reporting and the intricacies of month-end closing processes.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to prioritize effectively amid changing demands and tight deadlines.
