Numero

About Numero

At Numero, we build software for political campaigns and nonprofits. We were founded in 2019 (after our founders met while working together on a Congressional race) with the goal of building a modern fundraising software suite from the ground up – one that users actually want to use. In that time, we’ve scaled our platform to serve thousands of clients ranging from city council seats to US Senate races, and have helped them collectively manage over $10B in contributions.

Our platform is an all-in-one system comprised of a donor CRM, a broadcast email/text tool, and payment processing pages that our clients rely on for their work every day. We’re small, tight-knit team that has deep experience in this space and are backed by world class investors including 776, Y Combinator, and Initialized Capital.

Product + Features

Numero is a modern all-in-one platform that has been built from the ground up with best-in-class engineering and design principles – and in close coordination with hundreds of users (many of whom work on the most high profile campaigns in the country). In particular, it has the following three core product lines that power the daily work of all of our clients:

• Donor CRM – A fast CRM with features such as advanced entity resolution, automatic email + phone validations, and real time filtering across 500+ attributes to help teams manage and track outreach to their contacts (accessible via both web and mobile apps). Feel free to try a demo of it here: https://www.numero.ai/live-demo?utm_source=navattic

• Broadcast Email + Text – A communications tool that enables sending millions of emails and/or texts to audiences in a few simple steps. Automated, granular ROI reporting helps our clients evaluate performance and smartly target messages to the right recipients.

• Pages + Processing – Fully compliant Contribution, Event, and Petition pages that can be customized and designed to pixel perfection – all of which are served from a global static cache with near zero latency to support scaling to millions of donors and supporters.

Most notably, all of these products are available from a single unified platform – giving our clients the ability to access and manage their data without ever leaving Numero. This also means that when we build and launch new products, we do so to all of our customers, at scale 🚀

Our Story

Our founding team is comprised of Brian (CEO), Karan (CTO), and Susie (CFO). In past lives, we’ve founded startups, led engineering teams, and managed multibillion dollar budgets at Fortune 100 companies.

Most importantly, we all experienced the pain of slow and outdated campaign software firsthand while working on Brian’s 2018 congressional campaign. The existing software was so inadequate and error-prone that Susie stitched together compliance filings by hand and Karan built a fundraising platform from scratch that empowered Brian to become one of the top 10 fundraisers in the country for first-time candidates.

After our collective experience on the campaign, we applied to Y Combinator, launched Numero, and never looked back. We’ve been working in this space for a long time. We are here because we love it and know that this is some of the most important work we could put out into the world. We also know there is tremendous upside in it — that’s why we’re backed by investors like 776, Y Combinator, and Initialized Capital.
